Refund policy

At Aura Nomad, we want you to love every piece you receive. Each item is carefully selected and inspected before it leaves our hands. However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out — and we're here to make it right.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unworn, unused, and in its original condition (completely free of perfume, lotions, makeup, or scratches). Please note: For hygienic reasons, all earrings are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • All original packaging, tags, and accessories are included
  • The item is not listed as a Final Sale item (see below)

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items marked as Final Sale or purchased during a clearance/promotional event
  • Earrings (for hygienic reasons)
  • Items that have been worn, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Items showing tarnishing, discoloration, or damage due to chemical exposure (perfumes, lotions, chlorine, saltwater), improper care, or standard wear and tear.
  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Gift cards

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at hello@auranomad.co with the subject line "Return Request — Order #[your order number]"
  2. Include your name, order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
  3. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a return authorization
  4. Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method — return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Aura Nomad is not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit. Refunds or store credits will only be processed once the item is safely received and inspected at our facility.

Please do not send items back without first receiving a return authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.


4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If approved:

  • Full refund: Issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
  • Store credit: If you prefer, we can issue store credit for the full amount — valid for 12 months and can be used on any future purchase

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


5. Exchanges

We're happy to offer exchanges for a different size, color, or style — subject to availability. To request an exchange, follow the same process as a return and let us know what you'd like instead. If the new item has a different price, we'll charge or refund the difference accordingly.


6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take quality seriously. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@auranomad.co. 

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the item and the issue

We will cover the return shipping and send you a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice. Items reported after this 48-hour window will be considered damaged through standard wear and tear and will not be eligible for replacement or refund.

Please note: Manufacturing defects do not include damage resulting from accidental breakage, misplacement, normal wear and tear, or tarnishing due to improper care and chemical exposure.


7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after 7 business days, please:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company — processing times vary
  3. If you've done both and still haven't received it, email us at hello@auranomad.co and we'll investigate immediately
